Securing a busy corridor after winter damage
After that harsh Michigan winter back in ’07, we kept getting calls from contractors along the Telegraph Road corridor where fence panels had twisted, leaned, and blown loose in slush and wind. I remember stepping out into that cold, hard crust on the ground and seeing muddy tires, broken ties, and open edges right where crews needed a clean perimeter. Traffic kept moving, deliveries kept coming, and every gap in the fence turned into a real liability for the jobsite and the people working around it.
We rolled in with our trailer, set posts in the spots that made sense for the grade, and rebuilt the line panel by panel so it held in that winter ground. We use the right braces and tie-offs because this corridor takes a beating from wind and constant movement. Our crew kept the openings tight around access points, and the contractor got a fence line that stayed put and let the work keep moving without extra headaches.
Jamal and his crew got our fence line back up fast, and the site felt controlled again.
